Used Atkinson Firth based on a recommendation for our conveyances of our sale and purchase of our homes. We were not disappointed. The final fee was the agreed price - there were no hidden / extra costs added at the end. Lindsey was our conveyance assistant and she was brilliant from start to finish. When dealing with my late uncle's estate the paperwork showed that the deeds were held by Atkinson Firth- confirmed by a letter from them in 1979. The firm claims to have never held the deeds despite their own letter and have informed me that they cannot assist me further in the matter. I've now raised the matter with the legal ombudsman.

I expect a solicitor to have impeccable filing but even more disappointing was the lack of ownership and complete inflexibility to help me reconstitute the title to the property.

Great service and very professional. I have recently purchased a property and it wasn't a straight forward process as expected not any fault on our end,however, Diana Ciurdar was an absolute star who informed and updated me regularly. She was clear about the whole process from start to finish. I will be recommending them to family and friends.

Please be aware of the inefficiency of this firm. They completed Letters of Administration for me in some 3 months which is within the time scale for such work but after that things could not have been worse.They said they had posted documents to me which I have never received and then agreed to forward me an email in respect of a conveyancing matter which I never received. I again contacted them about the matter and was assured that I would receive the email but it never arrived.
They need a real shake up from top to bottom.
