Probably the worst thing ever.

I could never get them on the phone, you're literally waiting hours on end, and it always results to nothing.

I physically went into the building to get advice from someone, and this snobby old bag of bones pushed me out (almost quiet literally) saying the office is for staff only and the one and only way to get in touch was to call and stay on hold.

Why even have a office? And why have the grim reaper manning said office?

Waste of tax payers money and YOU DON'T EVEN ANSWER THE PHONE!

Although I haven't been there in a while but I can highly recommend the Basingstoke CAB as they have in the past helped me with some DWP issues. If you have benefits, housing difficulties don't be worried about contacting the CAB.

Fantastic place, all volunteers are heroes.
Completely accessible building and good parking nearby.
Never had a problem they couldn't help me with!!😀

Great friendly staff that want to help, sadly it's not as good as it used to be. They just don't seem to have the knowledge that they did before and as some other CAB have. On the other hand, they have helped me on many occasions. I also think that their hands are tied a lot more these days. Great service though.

I came to the UK from Malawi in 2011 after leaving my husband. I was married in Zimbabwe, and was at a loss and completely clueless on how to begin divorce proceedings. CAB, Fleet Branch were amazing!! A legal advisor saw me, helped with all the paper work, assisted me with filling in all the paper work, and even had loads of tissues to hand, as I found the whole process sad and scary. I cannot thank the staff enough for all they did for me. They made a trying part of my life a lot easier to handle. I would, and always do, recommend everyone who has any kind of dilemma, to visit their CAB.... fantastic bunch of caring people. THANK YOU x

Tried one more time with CAB and all they gave me was information I already knew. I asked if I could get help with wording on form and basically told since I was smart would figure ot out. This was the 3rd time I have tried CAB in 2 different offices over the years and was only given info that is already widely available. A waste of my time again.

I have visited the CAB for advice a couple of times. Each time I was put in front of a helpful, knowledgeable and sympathetic advisor. Their advice has been of consistently very high quality. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
