The vendor of a property we are buying is using this solicitor. To say dealing with them is painful is an understatement. The seller, their agents and our solicitor have all sent emails explaining we want to complete by the end of January and to date we have still not had a completion statement with them claiming they know nothing about the completion date despite all of the emails they’ve had with it in. The solicitor has been rude to the agent and told her it is nothing to do with her when all she was doing was trying to help things move along. We still have not completed due to their incompetence and refusal to send a completion statement. Unbelievable.

Very friendly staff, honest and straight forward from the start. All ways answered our calls and replied to emails, was turned down by two other firms before Powell solicitors took on our case and was very realistic from beginning. Was not an easy case and took sometime but never stop working hard for us and always kept us informed as to where we stood.

Contacted numerous times over 2 weeks. Continually told they would contact us back, but we were never called back. Finally got through and told they didn't have capacity by a very rude woman with an awful attitude, who talked over me, and just kept saying she had already sent a voicemail before I called, which I didn't receive (she had actually sent it to my sister, just a short time earlier). Complete time wasters and unprofessional, and communication by the woman I spoke to was appalling. When I confronted her about our bad treatment, and incompetent communication, she had no response and offered no apology. However, the receptionists were polite, and tried to be helpful.

I cannot speak highly enough of Dexter and his team, there was times when I was extremely hard to work with but dexter never gave up, he gave me the respect and time to be able to express what it was I needed and wanted even if he felt that I was wrong he was patient and made sure he fully explained the situations so I understood everything every step of the way.

Dexter was always polite hard working and respectful, I never felt like anything was too much hard work and he used his discretion when I said things in the heat of the moment or in anger.

I felt that he saw me as a human and not just a case number.

The receptionist was also very polite and was nice to hear a friendly voice at the end of the phone.

I am eternally greatful for the support of dexter and his team.
