Absolutely dreadful experience, our onward purchase is using this practice (sadly). Our enquiries were sent nearly 6 months ago, we still do not have responses, just excuses and a lack of motivation to respond or to push the sale along. If you are thinking of instructing them for a property sale, don’t! They’ve made an already stressful process, considerably worse. If I could give no stars I would. Worst in the business!!!

A request was made by this branch to go and sign paperwork over and sign for the fees to be instantly transferred over to my partners bank, we arrived on the suggested day 40 minutes early to an old shabby little office with dead plants on the tiny table in what they call a reception area, and half hung off wall pictures.

Adrian (owners brother) came into reception later on no jacket, shirt massively oversized which is strange for his 45 stone physique, half tucked in, creased suit trousers, and in desperate need of a shave, and greeted us with nothing less than disgusting manners.

He firstly asked why I was there with our 7 year old daughter and told me it was nothing to do with me, and ordered me to sit 2 foot away from the desk whilst my fiance signed the paper work, he was extremely rude, which I outly asked him why he was being so very rude and aggressive woth his tone, his reply was he can be how he likes, then tilting his glasses down and saying to our little girl 'you alright little miss' in a belittling manner,

He stated he was doing us massive MASSIVE favour seeing us although we were asked to go and arrived 40 minutes early. The money was promised the following Monday.

Monday arrives no money, we call and are promised the same day or latest Tuesday morning, these times arrive and still nothing.

I call to ask for adrian who was apparently out and to call back at 10am, I call back at 11am giving them time amd was told out again, obviously I suggested I'll head to the office and wait in reception and funnily enough he became available, right there in the office for the phone call.

His first response was 'what do you want clever kelly'

Bare in mind I've never met this man before we can only assume he is 'comfortable with the other party involved to act in such a way'

He continued to be absolutely vile and I stated that we had stood by our side of the bargain and signed the papers when asked so suggested he transferred the funds as promised, if not ill take a trip to the office, he then again horribly stated do not call again, I don't want to ever see you again, I wished him a good day, and he pompously replied with 'I always have a good day sweetheart'

The receptionist whitnessed this and gave me a little wink during the first incident and today also agreed I was spoken to horribly on the first instance, she was lovely may I add, from her response she's clearly seen him this way previously.

Shoddy cheap tiny dirty office with a horrible unprofessional scruffy old man who calls himself a solicitor, I would not have him represent me if his services were free

Very poor. Lack of communication and urgency throughout the whole process. They took almost 6 months to complete the purchase of a flat with no chain or complications. I had to constantly chase them to get updates. They only got it done after i continuously rang them and stressed that my mortgage offer was close to expiring. Very stressful experience, would not recommend.
