Absolute shambles of a company. As if moving house isn’t stressful enough… No one answers the phone, responds to emails and everything was left until the last minute so much so that the entire chain almost fell through. Not to mention they go on annual leave supposedly without telling anyone and without having appropriate cover. Avoid!

Emma was my allocated solicitor at Bretherton Law to work on a social services matter, I wasn't the happiest to be having to participate with the social services as it felt very unjustified however Emma encouraged me to as it would just escalate if not. I trusted her judgement as a professional and was very glad I did as the outcome was more positive than I'd of ever expected it to be. Great relationships were created all around and I received a lot of support. I felt Emma was very much in my corner but was also very forthright with her advice which I liked. Id absolutely recommend her as she's super easy to communicate with and very attentive in her role. There's no laziness with Emma and she does what needs to be done and doesn't shy away from raising things that require it. I'm hoping I won't ever be in a position to require her services again but if so I'd happily have her represent me! Thanks for everything Emma 🙂

Bretherton held the will of my late wife and managed her estate after her sudden death. Jacki Hockin was outstandingly supportive and kind at a difficult time. She also managed my new will and Power of Attorney documents in a thoroughly professional manner. We recently completed on the sale of a flat and the purchase of a house, with Osman Dervish acting for us. Osman was responsive, professional and commercial to ensure the transaction was done as efficiently as possible. He faced an inexperienced and extremely rude solicitor who acted for our purchaser but always maintained a cool and professional manner notwithstanding how infuriating she was! This really helped to ensure we worked our way through the issues she created.

Brethertons were also good value. Highly recommended.

I was advised to use Sandra and her team from a friend when I ended up in a very complex case. Everyone I spoke to in the office was friendly, kind and knowledgeable.

Sandra always had time to talk to me on my many telephone conversations. I would often receive an email or telephone call at a Weekend or evening in some of the most trying and stressful times.

The team always helped with any matter that arose, even if not directly involved with the case and I can not thank everyone enough.
