I know they'll just tell me I'm not their client as they have all the others but people need to know. Our sellers were using this solicitor for our house sale. It was supposed to be a straight forward transaction, no chains either side. After no response for a month regarding a completion date, our solicitor and estate agent finally put pressure and set a snap date within the week. This date of course came and went because Wosskow Brown ignored all correspondence. We tried again for 2 weeks later, suddently there was issues with 'compliance', 8 months into a no chain sale. We tried again every day that week declaring we wanted to complete. Our own solicitor was appalled and the estate agent fed up. If you are selling your house do not use these people because your buyers will either lose their mortgage offer or just pull out

Would never recommend. This is possible the worst property transaction I have ever had to deal with. I have just used these for the sale of my house and an onward purchase and Georgia has quite possible been the worst conveyancer I have ever had to deal with. My stress levels are absolutely through the roof and no one should be made to feel the way I have been made to feel. You put your trust in your solicitor, you expect them to do a good job and work with you and make your process as simple and hassle free as possible. This is not the case, it has take over 6 months to get my transaction through with only selling to a first time buyer, Georgia has had enquiries and at one point these had been sat on her desk for over 5 weeks and not picked up and dealt with. I have had my estate agent trying to help, the estate agent of the one I am buying trying to help and it always fell on deaf ears. You are the worst conveyancing firm, you have given me so much stress it has made me ill, you do not care how a client feels even though we are paying your fees. I really think that this firm needs a massive shake as it seems to me that no one really knows what they are doing. DO NOT USE

We are in the process of selling a freehold no onward chain property and it is now week 15 and no completion date . Our buyers are saying it’s all ready from their side but nothing from ours . I have had to chase everything . They have made basic mistakes from the beginning even putting the incorrect house no on the documentation . Please avoid it’s too stressful .
They don’t even have basic i’m out of the office email replies so you think that you’re being ignored . Don’t know what’s happening there because they assisted with my mums house sale 5 years ago and it was all good .We have friends who have sold and bought houses and have already completed and moved within 12 weeks so it is possible with the right solicitors .

I cannot recommend this firm based on my experience. They have jeopardised the sale of my property and onward purchase. Emails and calls from the whole chain have been repeatedly ignored. Calls often go unanswered and call backs are rarely given. I don't have time to repeatedly chase solicitors to do work that they have chosen to take on, and that they are being paid to do.

I chose this firm based on good reviews and have been extremely disappointed. In dealing with my file, I do not feel that they have been honest or transparent and updates have often not been accurate. On many occasions I have been fobbed off rather than being told honestly that there is a delay or that work has not been done. I also have GDPR concerns due to emails being sent to the wrong addresses and post not arriving on multiple occasions.

The process has taken a lot longer than we were told it would, with multiple delays. This is discounting a hold we put on the file near the beginning of the process. The experience (still ongoing) has been frustrating and incredibly stressful. Honest conversations and regular updates throughout this process would have gone a long way.

Any one issue in isolation wouldn't have been a big deal but there have been too many of them. We have submitted a formal complaint as a last resort, having given them time to sort this out, and we await a response through that channel.

Absolutely the WORST experience I have ever had. Absolutely shocking. I'd prefer to go across the road to the local pub and ask someone from there to do my conveyancing and this is also the opinions of several local estate agents. PLEASE NO !

Wosskow Brown handled conveyancing for my purchase as a first time buyer, having been recommended to me by a friend. Initially I have to say I had problems with them not being very responsive, and was honestly expecting to leave them a much worse review. It might've been they were very busy at the time, but I would recommend if you use their services that you confirm with them about expected response times/regularity of updates.

In the second half of the process, they were far more responsive and gave a really exceptional service as we managed multiple hold-ups from a large chain. That said, one issue even then was them sending me a plainly wrong contract to sign - don't know how that slipped past solicitors on both sides. I wouldn't be put off using their services but do your due diligence as a customer!

I used Wosskow Brown Hillsborough to buy my first home. Completion went through smoothly and we met all of the deadlines set by the chain. Georgia and the team were friendly and helpful with all of my questions which made the process as stress free as possible. I would definitely recommend this team again, thank you 👍

Wosskow Brown were professional, helpful and friendly and helped us through a drawn-out, difficult house purchase. The vendor's solicitors were less than ideal, which caused delays - Wosskow Brown were fantastic by comparison, always answered the phone and emails really quickly and kept in touch throughout the process. Thank you to Georgia, Gemma and Grace (all the G's!) for all your help - we are so pleased we finally managed to complete! 🙂
