After crossing the bridge hundreds of times over the years it was fascinating to walk under it - it is only then you realise the extent of the curve.

It's a very pretty walk and there's cafes and a public toilet nearby if you need. However I would say there's been multiple times where people should have kept their aggressive dogs on the lead, just as a warning to those who are nervous or have young children.

Lovely area to relax listening to the wildlife and waves the bridge can be noisy but also something calming about it aswel. I didn't notice any toilets but that's not to say there isn't any. Very much a dog walking place so be prepared for that if bringing kids or sensitive people.

We discovered this place, whilst stopping off on a long journey. Great views of Severn Bridge and a nice walk along the promenade. There are also a couple of local bakeries and cafés, which are useful for a cuppa along with a sweet treat.

Easy simple, walk along the wide prominade from Severn Beach to just south of the old Severn crossing. About 13km, mostly on well formed concrete walkways, half on stoned up path at the top of a berm and a bit on a quiet section of road. Was a bit annoyed at the Aust end that the PROW was blocked off with a fence since 2020, with no alternative route in the field. Bamnuttall need to crack on and complete the flood defences work. Future work includes extending the footpath northwards. Ideal for a spot of cycling with the kids, provided they don't plop off the sides.
