Good place if you're looking for a walk in the sunset. There is a fair length of paved path right on the edge of the water that you can follow. You can see both bridges from here as well as Wales just across.

The water is dirty, I would not recommend going in it.

Not worth a visit. Signs indicate things that arenโ€™t there eg This is where a paddling pool USED to be. Which means there really isnโ€™t a lot to see. Funny old place. Good views of the bridge. Gentle walk between the bridges is nice

I visited Severn Beach in August, I feel so refreshed and relaxed walking around the beach. Highly recommend it!
And I probably will come back to watch the sunset in Autumn:)

My wife and I visited here a week ago - right after we indulged ourselves with lunch, we walked all the way along the pathway under the bridge, almost as far as The Pill (I refer to what's known shown on Google Maps).

Walking under the Prince of Wales Bridge made for good photographing. See attached pics, and a panoramic shot where I managed to fit in two bridges in the same pic!

The town has a long stretch beach, which is perfect for sunbathing and walking. One of the main attractions of Severn Beach is the Severn Bridge. The bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the River Severn. It is the longest suspension bridge in the United Kingdom and one of the most iconic landmarks in the Bristol area. The Beach is also a popular spot for birdwatching. The town is located on the edge of the Severn Estuary, which is a major bird migration route. During the spring and autumn, thousands of birds can be seen flying overhead.
