I spoke with Joe McPherson at Scottish Driving Law on behalf of a family member. Although we were not able to move forward with a case, Joe was extremely helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. It is clear that this organisation excels in their culture around providing free initial advice, which was very thorough and supportive. Although no case, my family member now knows where they stand can move on from the issue. This will significantly reduce worry and anxiety. Thank you to Scottish Driving Law.

I contacted Joe Mcpherson at scottish Driving solicitors after i was charged with cause and permit of an uninsured driver to use my car and my partner was also charged with driving a car with not having insurance to use the car. I had searched through a lot of solicitors and after reading Joe's great reviews I decided he was the best person to represent me and my partner aswell who originally wanted to use his own lawyer to represent him but due to his previous motoring issues he decided Joe was the better option. Joe went above and beyond to help us both keeping us updated and giving fantastic advice. Myself personally was very nervous and Joe was so reassuring to me throughout and especially during my court appearance. My result was the best outcome with no points and no fine. And my partners result was his charge was dropped. I can't recommend joe enough for anybody facing prosecution for a driving offence. Thank you so much Joe for all your help.

I had 9 points and was again alleged driving at 52mph on a 40mph road in Edinburgh. Facing a top up driving ban I called a few solicitors for help, some were ridiculously rude and unhelpful, one even said "what you want to do is up to you."

I was then recommended to Joe by a friend whom himself and 2 of his friends had previously sought Joe services in the past, all 3 cases were found in their favour.

I reached out to Joe, and he gave me some very in depth advises for a couple of times free of charge; I then asked Joe to represent me for this case.

Joe was very accessible, called me in those "out of office hours", keeping me informed in every stages.

Joe is a very caring person by nature, putting my mind at ease from the very beginning.

The end outcome was the best possible one: no points, no fine, thus, no ban. I was just free from the case, and keep my licence.

If you need any legal help in relation to traffic law, Joe is here for you.

I could not have asked for a better nor more sympathetic and professional approach than I received from Joe at Scottish Driving Law. He went further than his remit and got the most positive outcome I could have wished for. Thank you Joe, I could not recommend you more highly.

I had been summoned to court for dangerous driving. Joe managed to reduce the charge to careless driving for which I got a fine and nine points. It is painful, and will be for years however it was a much better outcome than being disqualified. Thank you.

After been pulled over on the A75 outside Dumfries, and been charged with dangerous driving. I almost straight away looked for a solicitor. With me been from Eastyorkshire and committed a offence in Scotland and I thought a Scottish solicitor would be ideal. The prospect of losing my licence and my job as a HGV Driver, i contacted Joe, whom I gave all the information he asked for. The whole experience took nearly a full year to get to court, Joe and his team did excellent work on my behalf, Joe is a true professional in his work and after finally appearing before the sheriff in Dumfries, he managed to negotiate my charge from dangerous driving to careless driving. Yes I did receive 8 points on my licence and a £900 fine, but I kept my licence and my job all due to joes hard work and professional attitude. I cannot thank Joe enough.

I regrettably caused a minor collision while driving in Perth, after pushing into the middle lane of a busy roundabout. I was charged with careless driving, failing to stop at the scene of the accident and also not reporting the accident to the Police within 24 hours. At the time of the charges being issued, I had been driving for slightly over a year. I was afraid of losing my license as only 6 penalty points would be required for my license to be revoked. However, mostly I feared the impact that the latter two charges could have potentially had on my employment as an analyst at a bank. From my very first phone call with Joe, I knew right away that I had contacted the right solicitor for the job. It was clear that even at that early stage, he was eager to provide as much help and advice as he could and this was only reinforced when I received the official court papers regarding the case against me a few months later. Joe took great efforts to understand the circumstances of my case and was able to form a mitigating defense, which initially resulted in the charge of failing to notify the police within 24 hours being dropped. I was delighted with this. However, on my day in court, minutes before I was to face sentencing from the Judge, Joe was able to convince the prosecutor to also drop the 2nd charge of failing to stop at the scene of the incident. The outcome of the case was 3 points being added to my licence and a £420 fine. This was a far better outcome than I ever imagined the case could have resulted in. To anyone in a similar situation, please do not hesitate to contact Joe MacPherson at Scottish Driving Law. He truly is a master at his craft. Thank you, Joe!

Was charged with a hit and run in Edinburgh. With the information I produced and Joe's excellent skills he managed to get the case dropped completely. Was looking at fine, points on my licence and a criminal record. Thank you very much Joe, would recommend you to anyone with a driving legal issue in Scotland.
