Extremely bad experience with land registry alterations to 3 plots of land. A relatively simple process but it came to light 12 months later when trying to re-mortgage that the whole process had not been completed and was a real mess. Now costing us £100's per month in increased mortgage interest payments since interest rate rises. Unable to re-mortgage to lock in fixed interest rate and could take another 18 months before Land Registry complete the process. Also costing us £1000's for another solicitor to sort out the mess. Very unprofessional, amateurish service. Now engaged a new local firm of solicitors who are professional & efficient. The experience with the new firm is simply miles apart, and gives me confidence that things are being done correctly. Advice from my experience is to avoid.

We used Fiona Marsh of Scott Duff for the conveyancing of our house. The job was not completely straightforward, but managed with aplomb by Fiona. The task was reasonably and fairly priced. horrible ppl! very rude. I called and asked if they do sign declaration form for a passport application? I told them the documents I have and they said they would do it for £5. I take some time off work to go there just to find out the solicitor refuses to sign the paper for no valid reason! she said ''I'm not comfortable signing this''. they could have told me when I called so I should use my time going elsewhere!

Very poor and abrupt service, I asked for a little advice on a trial I'm going through but was greeted with a call asking why have you rang us we don't represent in your area and made to feel very uncomfortable, would definitely not recommend.....

Thought the receptionist was having a bad day the first time I went in, but the second time was no better......quite a miserable reception each time!!
