Very helpful and responsive service. Nathan was really good at responding to emails and phone calls and even though the sale dragged on this was purely caused by the lower chain. Really surprised by all the bad third party reviews because I wouldn't hesitate to recommend after my first hand experience

Avoid like the plague!

Just to sum things up, this has been, by far, the worst experience we’ve ever had with a solicitor. After 21 weeks into our property purchase, Wosskow Brown had only just initiated our searches a couple of weeks ago. The sheer incompetence and delays have caused us endless stress, and we were at serious risk of losing our mortgage offer because of their complete lack of urgency.

The communication is absolutely disgraceful. Emails go unanswered, forcing us to chase them constantly by phone just to get basic updates. As if that wasn't bad enough, we provided them with details to arrange a property survey through Countrywide, which they utterly failed to organize. We had to take care of it ourselves.

At this point, we've transferred our case to another conveyancing firm because Wosskow Brown simply cannot be trusted to do their job. If you value your sanity, your money, and your time, stay far away from Wosskow Brown. Completely unprofessional and incompetent.

We are also filing a formal complaint with the ombudsman to investigate how we’ve been treated by this firm, as they shouldn’t be allowed to operate under this name or any other. Avoid them at all costs.

I am the seller of a property and the buyer is using this firm of solicitors- we agreed the sale in March and nine months later we still don’t have a completion date- This is for a no chain sale- It beggars belief. They don’t deserve to be in business given the appalling lack of service and absence of any customer care. I can’t take them to the Ombudsman as I am not their client but I hope my buyer does. Do not use these people - they are the worst I have ever experienced

By far the worst solicitors. We used them to sell and buy (around 3 months before they were taken over by WB Pennine), but wow the incompetence. It would take them weeks to reply to basic inquiries, causing major frustration for all parties involved. They were never truthful about where you were in the process, one person would tell you differently to the last person you would speak to. Told us they were working towards a completion date when we hadn't even exchanged contracts, and told us not to book removals until we exchanged, but still requested our mortgage money knowing full well that we were not going to be able to exchange and complete on that day due to us not booking removals. I could go on and on and the issues we have, but do yourself a favor and DO NOT use these solicitors.

Doesn’t even deserve 1 start, by far the worst service I have ever received. This company was suppose to look over a legal pack for us to bid on a property that went live today we was told over the phone it was being looked over but ever email was being ignored we was told we would have a call back which still hasn’t been received. We have now missed out on a property that we really wanted.

If you can’t do the work just say would make it a lot easier for everyone. Thank you for wasting our time Lindsey. WOULD AVOID THE WHOLE COMPANY.

Do not use this company, awful.
That's all I'm going to write as it's been such a long on going experience buying and selling a house with this company it's completely exhausted us. There's no way it should have taken almost a year even with the few obstacles we came across during the way.

If I could give this company zero stars, I would. The service has been appalling—no one responds to emails, yet they have no issue taking payments. Despite numerous attempts to reach out, we’ve been completely ignored, which has become incredibly frustrating. We would switch solicitors, but they’ve already taken our money, leaving us stuck. Writing this review is a last resort, as they consistently fail to answer phone calls or respond to emails. We sincerely hope this prompts them to finally address our concerns.

Absolutely useless conveyancing solicitor. Use bizarre compliance practices completely out of step with most law firms. Unbelievably slow and just awful! Impossible to get hold of them, do not respond to emails or calls most of the time, took them several times longer than any reasonable solicitor to respond to basic enquiries and almost made chain fall through with their insanely slow work. AVOID!
