My sale started September. I have nothing to buy the buyer has nothing to sell so it should be a very easy transaction. Its been a nightmare. Im still waiting for the sale to go through!!!
Solicitor is even off sick or on holiday. Spoke to Mr Hallam himself all he said .....solicitors have left the firm!!!!! Wish he had been honest from the beginning. Was advised to go with this company from Right Let Leeds.

LESSON LEARNT DONT listen to your Estate Agent and dont use this Company.

I have been going through the conveyancing process for 9 months now. They don't answer the phone, they don't answer emails.

Two of their three conveyancers left the company a couple of months ago. I think the work load is probably unmanageable for them at the minute.

This is the 2nd time I have used Hallam’s and again I have had an unbelievable service.

Suhail assisted me throughout my property sale and he was prompt, friendly and professional. He is a true asset to the company and his people skills are exceptional. What turned out to be a tricky sale was made easy by Suhail and his knowledge/skills.

I would highly recommend Hallam’s and Suhail and I will certainly use them again!

Hallam have been supporting buyers further down our chain and it’s been a nightmare! Turnover of staff has led to prolonged periods of zero contact to their client and other solicitors in the chain, resulting in 2 missed completion dates and the risk now high to miss a third.

The only time any response was shaken from the firm, was when clients and other parties from the chain have visited the offices and refused to leave.... Avoid these guys if you are looking for proactive, communicative conveyancing!

Given my experience with Hallam solicitors via our chain, I am astounded they have a 4.9 rating.
Hallams solicitors are despicable. They ignore emails don't answer the phone and have led to two move dates being postponed. Suhail is never available and has more holidays than Judith Chambers! It's unfortunate a buyer in our chain has had the misfortune to employ Hallams.
If you value your sanity stay well clear of this abomination of a company!
They don't give a jot about the lives they turn upside down though their inaction and incompetence!

Spot the fake good reviews they are putting on about themselves it's blatantly obvious, just look at the language used. The number of "thumbs up" on the negative reviews tells you all you need to know.

Absolutely terrible & non-existent service. They are incompetent conveyancers and do not respond to enquiries or emails. If you're looking for a decent conveyancer then stay clear.
