Referred me to PM property. Told them need to complete within 56 days. PM, waited a week and took £600 before then telling me they couldn’t take on my case. Not sure why nobody told me that at the start, after me explicitly stating the deadlines.

Avoid at all costs, I would suggest if you are purchasing a property and the vendor employs this company you request they change or don’t proceed.

We are not using My Home but the seller of the property we are currently purchasing is and when I tell you we have been going 6 months (and counting) on something we were told would be 8-12 weeks I am not exaggerating.
Their communication is awful, they don’t respond to our solicitors, the estate agent, or the seller. They send nonsensical responses referencing management packs that aren’t management packs and only reply when they are waiting for someone else.
Our solicitors sent enquiries on the 1st of June, they only yesterday contacted the management company for answers to said enquiries – over 2 months later.

If I could give zero stars I would.

We're in the process of trying to buy a house and the vendors are using this company as solicitors. The whole process has been painful. At every step, My Home Move has been slow and ineffective. We've been waiting for simple documents from them for three weeks, with our estate agent spending hours on the phone trying to get through each day. Having received the documents they're completely wrong. They haven't informed their clients correctly which has meant long wait times and more work for us. Our solicitors have told us they've never worked with any company that is so bad. I'd urge anyone thinking about going with My Home Move to reconsider - it's not worth it

DO NOT, DO NOT, DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Whilst I didn’t use them myself, I have been on the other side of this company. My sellers used them & it took 8 months for the sale to progress from sale agreed to completion. It is now nearly 12 months since completion and they still haven’t sent details of the lease extension to the land registry so it is not possible to register the property in my name. The land registry wrote to them mid January 2022& 10 weeks later they still have not replied.
I repeat DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I only gave 1star because it is not possible to give no stars

Wholly incompetent as other reviews suggest. Called them to request a very small invoice to be paid for just over £100. Was just about to transfer me to the right person as they asked me are you a client? Then when they found out it was money related, they refused to transfer me and then gave me an email address to send my enquiry to. Asked how long they would respond in. They mentioned it would take 3-5 working days! Considering this ways a 2 week only invoice this is appalling.

Companies BEWARE. These are bad payers!!!!!!

I am buying my next home and the vendors are using this company as solicitors. I have moved several times in the past and My Home Move has been the worst Conveyancer I have come across. House buying and selling is stress making, but their slow and ineffective method of working makes matters worse and if the person you are dealing with is off for any reason, there is no handover. My solicitor even had to train them in an aspect of the work. I have now had to agree to break the chain as my buyer threatened to pull out because my purchase was so slow. My solicitors have told me they've never worked with any company that is so bad. I'd urge anyone thinking about going with My Home Move to reconsider - it's not worth it.

Absolutely dire, AVOID would give zero stars if possible. My Home Move were my initial conveyancer introduced by purple bricks as part of their T's&C's to use their solicitors.
They have been terrible from the start and i'm over a month down the line with zero progress. They have done literally nothing in a month and when i've called to chase the case handler I was assigned is never there or unavailable, nor does she reply to emails.

They have breached GDPR laws by sending private information to the wrong address, not attended agreed appointments with no acknowledgement or follow up, provided incorrect advice and are generally entirely unprofessional. I'm now switching solicitors and have lost 5 weeks to these incompetent people.
