I understand that the role of a solicitor sits across three principle areas, namely, preparation, management, and client care. The collective of solicitors at Stowe who passed me from one to another failed across all of these areas and used bullying and aggressive tactics towards me to simply push the case through. They did not act in my best interests and rather than offer a service that was tailored to my needs (as was promoted in their literature) I was placed on nothing more than a conveyor belt system which was not personalised and came nowhere near to supporting my particular needs. The service amounted to nothing more than average admin support rather than specialist legal representation. When I found myself giving evidence in court, I was left in the doc whilst the whole court was adjourned due to there being three different incomplete court packs across the court room, I decide that enough was enough and I moved to a different firm. I attempted to complain but they shut down by refusing to provide me with my own case file, refused to meet with me face to face and simply refused to engage in sensible dialogue. I could go on and on but I would strongly recommend that you go nowhere near this firm, in my view they exist simply to exploit people for money at their most challenging time. Ps. Why don't you send me your standard 'we're sorry you feel this way, message' and offer me a pointless opportunity to speak to someone who won't give a toss!

I have just received your response. It would be helpful to know who has responded to me? The descriptor suggests ed'the owner' however I suspect it isn't. If the person who is inviting me to engage is able to identify themselves by name, I am open to a conversation however at this time it seems like an empty offer when the reply is signed off as 'Stowe Family Law, Bristol'

I would highly recommend against using this company for any legal issues. If you do, then Do Not proceed with Katy Jordan. She is more of a salesman than a lawyer. Highly unprofessional, information not shared between lawyers and barristers. Only responsive when asking for additional funds. Bundles not prepared for court hearings, barristers left chasing their tail due to inadequate preparation from lawyers. Crucial information not noted by lawyers. At one point I even had highly sensitive emails sent to me, intended for another client.
