Was not a great service. I requested Chloe Heath to handle the purchase of my flat but everything was delegated to a trainee member of her team who didn’t work full time. Number of mistakes were made and was a headache towards the end of the process with me having to hold their hand and facilitate communication between all stakeholders. It was my first time purchasing so was hoping for some advice and guidance but was just asked for stuff with no personal touch specifically for my purchase. Would not recommend to anyone, if you’re looking for a tailored and informative conveyancer then look elsewhere.

In 2020 my wife and I decided to purchase our first Buy to Let property. When we found the property I was asked by the sellers agent if I had a solicitor. I said I was intending to use Poole Alcock. The agent said ‘I wouldn’t do that. They are too big, will be slow and you won’t get a good service’. I ignored this remark as having worked with Dan Brooks on another family matter I had grown to know, like and trust him and I was confident that he and his team wouldn’t let me down.

My decision was completely vindicated. Poole Alcock were efficient, helpful, professional and a pleasure to work with. They guided us through the process and made it as painless as possible. They gave sound advice and were transparent on fees, which were also reasonable. We will certainly be using them again and have no hesitation in recommending them.
