Really happy with ELS, we had Joe Lewis as our main Solicitor and Maya Butt as our Paralegal throughout the whole selling (leasehold) and buying process, brilliant response times and always available for a phone call, certainly recommend them to anybody. We were expecting lengthy delays considering that we were selling a leasehold due to the delays it took purchasing it with a different solicitors. It only took little over 2 months with ELS from start to finish, really impressed.

Elite Law was referred to us by a housing development, so we decided to go with them (first mistake - don't use solicitors developers recommend! They are in it for themselves). After reserving our first house, we had to pull out due to information we discovered ourselves that was not disclosed to us by Elite Law. We had an abortive fee of almost £1,000. What the issue then was that we tried to use Elite Law again to reserve/buy another house. We were told that because it was no longer a "referral", they were going to tack on another almost £500 just for this reason. Which seems absolutely absurd - if it weren't for us using them in the first place for the first house, they would've never even had our second business (not to mention the £1,000 abortive fee)! I will give credit where credit is due and say they were response, however overall I would not recommend Elite Law. They charge you for literally every possible little thing, and it's not cheap. Their loyalty does not lie with you, the paying customer, but rather with the developers. Extremely disappointing service.
