AVOID FOR TRANSFER OF EQUITY

These guys do not have a clue what they are doing with a transfer of equity, especially if there is a help to buy scheme involved. They dragged my process out - went through them for guidance and support - they had told me it was all done - turns out it was not! So the transfer of equity hadn't gone through, then still decided to charge me £400 on top of my deposit for the fun of using them! Horrendous customer service - would avoid at all costs.

These guys are just the best. 2nd time we've used them, I wouldn't use anyone else. We had a particularly difficult chain and robert morrison from roberts crossley made the other solicitors in the chain look like complete amateurs. His response time was outstanding, he constantly hounded the other solicitors for us with out us asking, he was 100% working in our best interests, was very approachable, but also was tough to the other solicitors when we started getting messed about. If the others in the chain acted a 10th as knowledgeable and professional as robert we would of completed 8 weeks ago. I would advise anyone reading this to use their expedite service.

We have used RCS a few times now and have recommended them to friends too. The results are always the same - fast, friendly service getting the necessary work done with little fuss. Communication is excellent and the tracker tool for conveyancing progress is really helpful. Ben Thomas dealt with a recent case for me when remortgaging - the title on the house is not straightforward (a lot of history involved with a 230 year old property) but Ben ensured the mortgage application went through without a hitch.
Some people maybe put off by online conveyancing but our experience with RCS is that of trouble free process. When emails are quickly answered and there is a person you can phone if required, it doesn't matter where they are based. The online tracker tool is the icing on the cake.
