Had our annual Christmas outing for our dog walk group here this afternoon. Food absolutely faultless, as was the welcome and service. We had various choices and everything each person chose exceeded expectations. Thank you so much all staff at The Hare Inn, Long Melford

We booked in advance and had a lovely table in the corner. Friendly welcome and a good choice Sunday menu for all diets. Food arrived promptly and was tasty.

Reluctantly went here after friends booked it. Had been for a meal a few years ago and it was not memorable, however a few years on..under new management/chef I presume..and it was fantastic..the best meal we have had out in a long time! Compliments to the chef!

I’ve never had a bad meal here.

We popped over for a little Wednesday night meal. It was lovely to see the place so busy.

The Toast Skagen is, as always, to die for. The lamb rump had the best potatoes gratin I’ve ever had.

Service was lovely. Atmosphere was lovely. The pub is just lovely.

Visited the Hare inn this evening.
Absolutely wonderful food and the gentleman that served us was even better!
Checked on our every need and kept us topped up!
As for the food, exceptional lamb and our starters were great too!
All round excellently run pub and restaurant will 100% be back soon!

Wanted to try a new place so tried the Hare Inn, lovely waiters serving us and food came out efficiently and on time. Unfortunately the wellington was not great and it wa tasteless, all sauces did not seem homemade and overcooked chicken with uncooked potatoes. Really gutted to not make this place my new local. It did seem a very winter menu for end of summer.
