After visiting the solicitor we were told that we would receive further instruction via email or phone call shortly. After no response and 2 weeks already gone, I sent an email enquiring about our visit. I went to the office the following week and was told that the solicitor was on holiday, I was asked by the secretary to resend the email. After a further 3 weeks I visited the office and was met by the solicitor who seemed somewhat rather bemused when I enquired about our meeting. He then asked to me to yet again resend the original email and said that he would email me or call me that afternoon. A further week passed without any correspondence and I then emailed the solicitor with a vote of no confidence. Boy, did I get the most totally insincere response!! NO APOLOGIES AND TOTALLY LACKING EMPATHY. Does it really take 7 weeks to say you are inundated with work? or is it too much to say you will be away for a while? We are not mind readers! A total unprofessional attitude, and shockingly awful communication.
I have now found another solicitor, and it is even more apparent now at how bad this lack of service was
