Obtained a statutory declaration a few months ago and they charged us £50 for something which by law is £5. I was told solicitors don’t do it for that price but lo and behold my sister has just had the same declaration elsewhere and it cost £5.
Short sighted of this solicitors to overcharge because I will very much be avoiding them in future.
