He helped break through the upselling and pressure from the sellers' estate agents, letting us know what needed to be focused on and what was just a scare tactic. He was very responsive to emails and phone calls, and the process of dealing with a solicitor was nothing like the pain and constant delays that we had been expecting. With a company strapline 'always there', you don't expect them to be continually uncontactable, with excuses (via the switchboard) such as 'the whole team is on a day's training' followed by (two days later), 'the whole team is on a day's annual leave. All this on the several days we were hoping to exchange. This unresponsiveness has jeopardised our house-move, frustrated our whole chain, and meant we couldn't exchange contracts day after day despite everyone else in the team being ready to go. Very unprofessional indeed.
