The process of selling our flat in Newcastle was pretty smooth. Generally everything was clear and went quickly and the communication has been very good. At times we have been smiling at the language use in emails (choice of words/grammar/syntax/logical order) but that's really the only thing we could fault this company. Excellent value for money.

As a first time buyer, used McKeag & Co for conveyancing. Been involved in a long winded and very tricky case, but cannot thank Chris Thomson enough. Open and honest approach and made sure I was able to complete my house purchase. Would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to use again.

Extremely disappointing experience.
Waste of time and money.
Arrogant and careless staff, from top to bottom.
Charged me for work they even failed to provide the results achieved.
After my conveyancing was taking much longer than usual, without any updates in spite of my various contact attempts, I have decided to pull out of the property purchase due to McKeag failing to chase the vendors and managing agents for the necessary info.
Charged me 50% of fees although less than 25% of the work was actually done as response for queries raised was still outstanding.
When disputed the fees with the top partner, he promised to review the work done and get back to me.
Never did!!!

Absolutely the best conveyancing solicitors I've ever used. Kept informed and Chris Thompson worked his magic in what became a very tricky chain towards the end. Without his tenacious attitude it would have collapsed . Will recommend to everyone and will not go any where else in future.
