I have been using Steele and Son for over 10 years for conveyancing on a number of purchases and sales and Will writing. Their professionalism and quick turnaround have made the experience much easier for me. Any delays with conveyancing have always been with the solicitor acting for the other party. Worst experience ever - Unfortunately for us our purchaser was using Steele and Sons.
They told our buyers that they were awaiting search results on our property only to find out 6 weeks later that they hadn't even applied for them. Then blamed their client for this mix up, saying they shouldn't have dilly dallied!
Refused to communicate with the estate agent, returning calls is on their agenda only.
Sale now fallen through due to complete incompetence & misguided advice on the part of Steele & Sons.

Extremely disappointing experience! We had a trainee solicitor most of the time taking care of my late husband's estate. We received some documents which were for somebody else's estate. I had to go through my lawyers in Manchester so that I could finally apply for a probate... and the final estate accounts were shambolic to say the list... they don't seem to understand how to use the correct exchange rate from Euro to Pounds for example... anyway, it is now all finished as of yesterday and I am so relieved. Will thankfully not have to use them ever again.

They will literally ignore your emails and calls for months when you are PAYING them for a service. You will be passed around, and nobody will have any idea about the paperwork you are using them for since there is zero communication. Absolute garbage.
