Handling a data breach claim from before the pandemic. Understand these things take time, but the updates went from frequent to every few months to literally over a year since hearing anything.

I wouldn't mind if I hadn't tried to email for updates but nothing back. Considering they're handling people who have had sensitive information breached, you would hope they'd be a bit more nurturing in their client management.

Very understanding of the matter and with quick and professional handling soon sorted me out with the things I needed to do. And a special thank you to Liam Grady ( the expert who was the handler of my case ) for the superb , brilliant and professional handling of my case. Always there to answer questions , always answered the phone when needed he was very clear on how things worked and instructed me on what I should do every step of the way. Very poor. I gave all the details and correspondence they required and was literally left hanging for any response if they were going to take the case on. Was always trying to call the direct line to the person dealing with it, who not once was available. I'd ring the general line asking to speak with said person to be told they'd pass on an email and I'll get a call back. Never did. Thankfully after a month of me trying to make contact they decided they wouldn't represent me (probably got annoyed that i was trying and trying). In fairness, that's probably the best result I could have asked for because I dread to think how they would have represented me.

Well, where do I start, if you have a DATA breach claim go elsewhere, there are professional organisations that will deal with your query / issue and will guarantees a conclusion within 18 months - 2 years and provide clarity along the way.

I was told by HC before I asked them to represent me is there a chance of compensation otherwise I will not bother, I was told "Definitely / Absolutely" and within 18 months. Two years have elapsed and nothing, no comms whatsoever, the majority of my colleagues are in the same boat regretting asking this outfit to represent us. PLEASE AVOID!!

We used Hayes Connor as part of a GDPR claim and Liam Grady was our solicitor. Liam dealt with our case quickly and efficiently and always answered any questions we had promptly , within 6 months we received our compensation.

I should’ve carefully read the review before attempting to try them out. They made me contact the ICO myself when infact the ICO themselves said the solicitor should’ve done that for me. They’ve been making me go in rounds abouts about my case when it’s been said by many people it a serious matter. I don’t believe they win any cases in court due to their laziness and unprofessionalism. Therefore I have taken my case to a better solicitors who in the case of 24 hours have opened up my case and got in contact with the courts.

Rubbish Solictors stay away from these people.

They are, unfortunately looking for nice and easy profit, nothing too demanding. . They take the case, and you do the work! I have put everything together for an obvious data breach. They asked me to contact the ICO, and were waiting for the reply . A joke. I took my file somewhere else, it s all going well.
I would not recommend.

This is the 2nd time i have reviewed Hayes connor. The first time i did they messaged me promising to make progress with my case if i took my review down but that was yet another lie. Hayes connor have been working on my case for well over a year with very little progress. My case I feel is straightforward, I have a written admission and apology from the company, a independent witness statement and have given them all the info they have requested. In fact I seem to have done more work then them.
It seems they like nice easy cases where they can earn a quick profit on a quick turn around. Even with my strong case the defendants Solicitor has failed to make any reasonable offer and most of the time ignores Hayes connor correspondence. I can only guess the defendants Solicitor holds Hayes connor with such little regard and know they have no real stomach or interest in pushing cases to trial. Twice now Hayes connor have told me that the defendant's have been sent a offer and have 21 days to reply. The first was a year ago and the 2nd recently. When I chase for a response I am told "The defendants case handler is on holiday" "they're ill" "they have had a death in the family" it is just endless. If Hayes connor are not prepared to stick to time limits set why would any defendants? When I have asked about moving my case to another Solicitor I get a response saying "you can but you must pay our costs" which by the way are extortionate. How they can charge so much for such a poor service is shocking. Please read all the reviews carefully and think carefully before using this firm.
