Wow! What can I say! So many people complain about solicitors but we did not have this experience with Emma Corker, she was absolutely incredible, her communication was amazing, we would hear from Emma every day and despite there being issues with our buyers solicitors Emma was on it at every stage.
Our estate agents commented that she was the best they had dealt with and even referred one of their other clients over to them.
Would highly recommend and cannot fault this service.

Highly unrecommended. I took them to buy my house, as the recommendation from the state agency, promising quickness and communication with them. Totally the opposite. Extremely slow and unresponsive, to both their portal and emails. Not even by phone, always with lack of knowledge on my application status. Started at the end of May, we are in September and still in progress (with no issues at all during the application). 10 days ago, my last call, they told me all the paperwork was ready to go and still they didn't comeback with a date for my last signature or the key exchange. My last email, 3 days ago, ignored the same as all the previous ones e sent.

Hold music says you get Bespoke service, I would t say bespoke, id say perfunctory.

You’ll have to call a lot to chase updates, unlikely to be proactively provided with them, even when it comes to exchange/completion, considering this can involve insurance/moving costs it was irritating/ unnecessarily stressful that I had such a hard time getting a clear answer on this and they seemed to be annoyed with me chasing (wouldn’t be necessary if communication was proactive, even an email?).

Also a lot of assumed knowledge, got one big document that covered all areas, rather than tailored explanation documents to my situation (First time buyer!) so had to call several times to confirm or clarify things. When I got through to the conveyancer directly they we good answering questions, before this though I would get contradicting answers.

I was recommended them by a family member who said 8 years ago they went above and beyond and proactively organised check ins to explain and confirm understanding, that doesn’t seem to be the case anymore sadly.
