We have used Steve Zavros for multiple property sale transactions over the last two years and found him to be diligent and professional at all stages. He always acted in our best interests, especially where one executor sale of a leasehold flat became protracted due to the buyers and landlord . I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Steve and his team for property matters.

I needed to find a lawyer to deal with a slightly complex conveyancing request. Some companies did not answer, but Steve Zavros from Horizon Law replied immediately he received my email. Their terms and costs were acceptable so I went ahead and engaged Horizon Law. The minute Steve read the proposed Lease he advised me against the transfer due to a 'toxic' ground rent clause. This was rectified by the owner and took about a year to be completed. Now the Lease I have meets the new modern standards. I would have been in a terrible situation if Steve had not pointed out the issue and had not been so specific with this advise on not to move forward until the Lease had been updated by the owner and Freeholder. I would definitely use Horizon Law again and intend to ask them to update my Will next!

I would not recommend instructing Horizon Law to handle any future probate matters I may have. The solicitors work part time and whilst they assure clients it is a job share, we personally found the service slow as matters are dealt with when the relevant solicitor is in the office - 2/3 days a week discounting holidays. We had a couple of queries - financial calculations and the time everything was taking - and were charged for the emails sent in response.

We had initially consulted the company in the sale of a property and this went smoothly.
