We have used Ian Taylor at PJ Hammond & Sons half a dozen times now and he and the team are brilliant. Super efficient and accessible, clear and fair pricing and very supportive and pro-active when things aren’t going quite to plan. I wish every solicitor was this good, it would make moving house a far easier process.

Unfortunately can't give more than two stars. They managed to complete my sale but that's about it. Anything else wasn't good. When my first sale fell through I wasn't being updated on the sale at all and thinking everything is going smooth made offer on the house which resulted in me loosing money spent on fees and searches.
One I sold it subject to contact for second time it was the same lack of updates. Unable to make appointment every time I wanted to make enquiry as they always been to busy.
They missed my completion date as the assistant couldn't find e-mail from my ex partner with her authorisation. Only called me two days after the completion date why not on the date I do not understand. As it happened she was searching for wrong email address as she read it wrong from paperwork.
Must have some serious eye sight problems as my cheque was posted to wrong address!!!!! Street name was misspelled, first part of the post code was correct and second was from my old address resulting. It is amazing that somehow it got delivered to us after two weeks delay.
Also top right corner was ripped off therefore bank was funny when cashing it as account numbers are on that top right corner.
Would not use again, sorry
