Terrible service. Red flag number one was being told they receive high return if their paperwork from the courts. Guess what, it was rejected by the courts. All issues noted were to do with the documents drafting and none from our side. 2 months later, they've still not done anything with the return and continue to ignore calls and emails. Avoid at all costs, complete scam to get your payment then not actually complete the paid works.

Awful company with terrible communication. Was dealing with Faye Lygo and was told sale could be completed in 2 weeks once paperwork was recieved from the other side. This has been going on for nearly 2 months now and have had no update for 2 weeks, despite numerous emails and phonecalls. Formal complaint will be lodged and will be taking this to the Ombudsman.

I have used this firm over a number of years for house purchases, settlement of estates, production of wills, and more recently obtaining probate and power of attorney. I have always found them very helpful, user friendly, and professionally efficient, and would have no issues with recommending them to others where appropriate.

A very disappointing experience! Been calling up the last three working days just to get a quote from the conveyancing team, and I have heard nothing from them even though I chased them up a couple of times today just to get an update, the receptionist is helpful and said will check what’s going on and call me back in 5 mins but never did ( same thing happened on last Friday). So if you have something urgent to deal with, it’s best to avoid using them, I gave up calling and using their service now.

I chose Hawkridge to assist with probate, conveyancing and other matters dealing with my late brother's estate. I dealt with Helen for the probate have no complaints she was prompt, professional & competent.
I chased up the invoice & paid it immediately, as was deserved for the service I received.

However, I had to switch to a different law firm for conveyancing, because I could not get them to arrange to meet me, nor even to answer emails - Mark included.

I had to travel several hundred miles to meet with estate agents in Gillingham, and the first people I asked to arrange to meet me - 2 weeks in advance of travelling - were my then solicitors, but, despite several reminder emails I got neither a meeting nor replies to my emails from the conveyancing staff nor from Mark.

There is no way I would risk trusting a company that behaves like that when you're trying to give them new business, with handling the contracts & proceeds of a house sale.

When the boss thinks it's OK to ignore customer's it's time to move on.

Natalie was very helpful and quick to reply to emails. We had a 60 days timeframe to complete the transfer which was done smoothly (from our side at least). Thanks helping me get my first property.

AVOID!!!! Worse company. It’s all about the money for them and that’s it. They don’t reply back and very rude. Not professional at all. If I could give them 0 star I would. I was never getting any feedback. They hang up the phone on me so many times. If you don’t want stress in your life avoid them. I have never meet such slow acting solicitors in my live what they are doing is purely lack of respect to their own clients.

One of the most stressful experiences of my life. Solicitor left half way through purchase of a house and they didn't tell us, I had to chase them and was often ignored. They lost documents and left everything to the last minute. I feel I must warn everyone off them and am amazed they have any sort of rating from 12 reviews! Today I got a £7 interest fine because they had failed to pay my stamp duty on time. All in all, cannot quite believe how unprofessional they are.
