My wife and I have asked Buckles Law Stamford to prepare updated Wills for both of us. We have been very impressed by the quality of the legal advice provided. Happy with service on dealing with my late parent’s estate. Although a long and tedious process. Often received emails from other staff whom I didn’t recognise their names, therefore some emails went into spam/junk folder. Waiting to hear from HMRC held up the process significantly. Therefore I could have been kept updated more regularly from Buckles. But efficient & professional.

Amazing service, stress free. Anna kept us to date thriough all processes, everything was done professionally. after going through the same process only a few months earlier with a different Solicitor also based in Stamford i was prepared for a rough ride with a lot of problems and hassle but was delighted to find this was not the case and my faith in the legal proffesion was restored. I have since reccomended Anna to a few People and also using them for a Conveyancing project as I have so much confidence in them and if possible I would have given them even more stars.

First came into contact when a family member passed away. Andrea Harrod at the Stamford branch dealt with the subsequent Will, Probate, and Estate. Both Andrea and those supporting Andrea were professional, and sympathetic to our circumstances. Nothing was too much trouble, everything was explained in a way we could fully understand, and the costs were fully transparent.
We completed most of the contact via telephone and zoom when needed, reducing the number of trips to their offices. If you wanted to speak, or there was a matter of urgency, Andrea was quick to come back with an appointment or if urgent she would call, no chasing.
So impressed were we that we asked Buckles to complete the conveyancing of both the sale and purchase of a new home for the surviving member. This side was completed by Lisa Hardy at the Peterborough branch. Like on most occasions with these things, it did not run smooth due to third parties. Meticulous, methodical, tenacious [when required] and excellent communication, were a few of Lisa's character traits, without I am not sure when the move would of taken place.
Let us not stop, having dealt with and experienced all these aspects, we realised the need for us and our family to update our Wills. You guessed who we turned to. Yes, you pay for all this, but having gone through it all, then we would say it is defiantly value for money. Real people who are professional - caring and supportive.
