Anna helped me with the purchase of the freehold of my flat. Anna and Hannah were both very helpful and efficient throughout the process and provided me with all the information I needed. We were able to manage everything by email and I was really impressed by how quick things went. I also felt their service was a little more personal than other solicitors I dealt with before. My mother had lived in Ripley for 30 years and when she died 5 months ago I faced trying to find a local firm who could do the conveyancing for her house sale. I needed a solicitor to take care of probate etc. after my father died and I used Anna Arthur and Associated based on a recommendation.
Soon after I asked Hannah to look after the conveyancing for my late fathers house.
Anna and Hannah were excellent to deal with, very professional and a pleasure to deal with.
They were recommended to me and I would certainly recommend them to others and when I need such services again I know where to go.

I have just read a previous negative review with some surprise as the overall circumstances appeared at first sight to be similar to our own - but in contrast I have nothing but praise for Anna Arthur and the team. In our case my mother (now 92) has dementia which has recently progressed at an alarming rate. She has been a long standing client of Anna's for many years, and we approached her for help and advice on how best to progress with some very difficult but essential paperwork. Without going into details, I would say that Anna was sympathetic, and immensely helpful and professional in both understanding the situation - and also ensuring my mother's best interests were maintained throughout. Thank you for all your input and guidance both recently, and consistently over the years. It has always been greatly appreciated, and your recent efforts on our behalf serve to underline just how dedicated and loyal you are to protecting your clients.

As an existing customer for many years my 88 year old father asked Anna to have his identity verified for the purposes of selling his home as he no longer has a valid driving licence or passport. He was told this wasn't possible as their details would be registered on the land registry of his property if they did this (!?) HOWEVER if he had instructed them to sell his property then it could have been done. I believe that this is a direct breach of SRA principles and as such this has been reported to the Legal Ombudsman. Additionally, immediately prior to this my father was charged £600 to do a minor adjustment on his will which is ridiculously expensive. I do recommend using this firm as they are unhelpful, rude and I believe unprincipled.

I called to enquire about a service Anna Arthur advertise as one of their main services, corporate law, and was told very curtly that they "don't do that kind of thing", she then hung-up on me..!!
Not quite the friendly face you see on the website. Will look for a supplier with a professional attitude.
