Tp Legal were very easy to deal with from start to finish in dealing with the sale of my property. Negligent service. TP legal failed to identify numerous legal disputes publicly available, discrepancies in the sellers and management companies paperwork, RTM companies registered at the development and failed to identify the freeholder.

After I moved in I learnt of many disputes and issues at the development which I raised with Matthew. Matthew told me that the management company are impersonating the freeholder. Matthew was not providing advice and was drip feeding information very specific to my question and only that much. Nothing more. I believe Matthew knew he had messed up and didn’t want to say much more.

After not getting answers from Matthew, I raised a complaint. My complaint was escalated to Tariq who said, and I will quote his exact words here, “Please know that my intention is to ensure that your concerns are heard” and then proceeded to ignore my emails and questions.

Edit: after seeing TP respond to this, I must add that my questions have not been answered as they claim and have been ignored. TP do not know who the landlord is, and yet claim “it is unlikely they are illegal”. The options are, the landlord changed illegally (although there are no records to show any change in the land registry) or the management company is impersonating the landlord as Matthew told me. Fraud is also illegal.
