Once again she has given an outstanding service throughout our work with them. Fantastic and timely communication throughout. I wouldn't hesitate to use her again and would recommend her to anyone looking for a professional, reliable and quality service.

Absolutely awful experience with Rogers & Norton. 1 star is generous.

Initially it was good, a lot of contact as I first started using them. Paperwork was sent out quickly. I had 2 weeks not hearing from them so emailed to request an update. I then had a call back, on the same day, telling me that they cannot work with my mortgage lender, after taking a substantial payment from me for the checks. Why that took 2 weeks to work out is beyond me. So now I am back to square 1 and have to wait for them to issue a refund. As if buying a house (as a first time buyer, on my own) isn't stressful enough. Thanks for nothing.

Its been a few years since my sale but a recent call with a friend brought it all back. Process only seemed to move when R&N were chased. Feels like I'd still be waiting now if I hadn't. Calls would go to Michelle then her "secretary", likely my real coneyancer, who would try and put me through (always failed) then would ask me to leave a message. I later found out their desks were opposite each other, so this was just an act: she knew Michelle's availability every time by sight but did this process each time anyway. First time buy with no chain and it took 5 months, and tonnes of stress. Agreed completion date just before their Xmas shutdown and agreed to come in with last forms etc at 1pm. Agreed this at 11am that day with Michelle. She then took a half day and left so was absent when I turned up! Contracts were witnessed by someone else. An appalling experience, right down to the last minute. Sorry the review is so late, but given how late R&N were for everything, I'll forgive myself.

It is advisable to avoid this company due to their inability to retain staff, which resulted in my being assigned six different solicitors. Each time I received a new solicitor, I was charged £1,000 for them to familiarize themselves with my case. I refused to pay this fee, as it was not my responsibility that the company could not maintain a consistent team. Subsequently, I received a bill for £4,000 for work that was never completed. They also misplaced my case files and crucial evidence, exacerbated by the frequent changes in solicitors. Bruce Faulkner's performance was particularly unsatisfactory to reduce the invoices on which he might as well not bothered, Ultimately, I had to engage another company which once again cost a lot as had to fill them in again on my case , but I was left with significant gaps in my evidence and an outstanding bill for work that was not performed or was not my fault that work had to continuously passed around. I strongly recommend steering clear of their services.

Wouldn’t use any other firm for conveyancing. We have used Roger’s and Norton a few times now over a 20 year period and have always came in better in price and service is always impeccable, have even helped with queries after move too, reducing my stress levels ?. Michelle Walter’s handled our most recent move, and she was nothing less than brilliant.

It took these guys 11 weeks with multiple chasing before giving up and going with a different solicitors. Communication was shocking and if you get a response don’t be expecting anything else for a couple of days. Read the other negative reviews, there seems to be a common theme
