Mike Cooper was a great help not only did he literally walk me theough the process he managed to advise me on things I had no idea about! He was a great help extremely friendly and held great communication throughout the whole process a true professional. I would highly recommend him and will definitely be using him in the future.

I contacted coffin mew for my dad who wanted to change his will, we met with Hannah who was lovely. She talked to my dad and really listened, taking an interest in his life and making him feel completely at ease. He was able to get across his wishes without upset and Hannah understood him perfectly.
When an older person makes a will it's so important they feel listened to, and understood not rushed or confused. Highly recommended for a great professional service with compassion.

If your buyer is using this firm we would say to be extremely warey.
Although very thorough, our buyers solicitor was thorough to the extreme. This delayed our sale and caused us extra stress.
Communication was awful, with our buyer never able to talk to their conveyencer [until towards then very end] and our solicitor having to email continuosly to get any answers or progress.
Enquiries took a fortnight to be returned to our own solicitor and only then after more nagging than should be necessary.
3 times our motorhome was mentioned as an unanswered enquiry, OUR motorhome, that was not listed in the sale! Clearly breaking an old covenant [every other house in the street breaks it] but nothing to do with our buyers!
Even when they had assured our buyers that they had no more questions [we had sight of our buyers emails - it was the only way to seemingly orchistrate clear communication] and 3DAYS BEFORE we needed to complete, she came up with 2 more questions to be answered before we could exchange contracts.

If anyone in the property chain you are involved in are using this company then be warned you are in for a terrible experience. Their failure to communicate & complete work in a timely manner added months to our house move.

Although I spoke to someone very helpful about a particular issue, I have a further issue and no one has contacted me despite my messages and the helpful person sending the Newbury office an email asking them to contact me. Not a good look - it leaves potential clients feeling you are too busy to be interested in their issues.

Terrible firm. Worked as executors of a family member's estate, having assimilated the previously contracted firm. Ten months to disperse the estate, errors and omissions throughout. We have the strong feeling that Coffin Mew deliberately tried to introduce stipulations surrounding a property purely to generate income for the firm, and that was not in our best interests. Poor communication that was often addressed to the wrong people and full of spelling mistakes. Not recommended at all.
