We received first class service from Locking solicitors, right from first contacting an advisor via chat. An appointment was requested for an ID1 form to be signed and witnessed, for my wife. A message was left at the York office for Will Bagley to contact us, to arrange an appointment. Will, contacted us very quickly, and kindly offered an appointment to suit us, therefore changing his planned schedule. Will was polite, knowledgeable, and has a brilliant personality. He makes you feel comfortable and very relaxed, as if you have known him for years. Both my wife and I were very impressed with Locking solicitors overall, including the receptionist ladies, who answered our initial phone calls. They are a very organised business, and will not disappoint people requiring their assistance.

We recently used Lockings to complete our purchase. Joanna and her team were great throughout the process, providing frequent updates and answering all of our questions. Lockings we're priced competitively and offered a great service. We will be in touch again with Lockings when we next move. Although they have a York office address, the team we dealt with are all based in Hull. I think this is important to mention for anyone who may want to visit the office in person. This wasn't an issue at all for us, however, as we completed all paperwork and communications over email and the phone.

Used Lockings' services (specifically Brydie's team) throughout 2022 as I was buying my 1st ever house. They were professional, thorough, answered calls promptly and emails within a day, gave a lot of details every time I asked and were very polite. They've been highly organised, sharing FAQ sheets such as "what to expect next", "what happens when" etc. They've also been proficient and made sure we had the right paperwork, authorisations and certificates from the seller. I like the detailed report that was sent with the purchase contracts as it explained each and every clause in the contracts and their potential implications; this made it very easy to understand the contracts.
