As a mortgage lender with over 25 years in the business who has worked with hundreds of real estate agents, I fully endorse Lorraine Donovan! She is smart, caring, listens well, never gives up and knows her market. She is a calm and certain negotiator and provides consistent and accurate communication to all of the parties needed to close a real estate transaction on time. Lorraine chooses to provide a very high level of service to each client over volume of transactions. In addition to her excellent business attributes, she is very fun with a hint of quirky so you will enjoy the time you spend with Lorraine when buying or selling a home!

5 reasons we LOVE working with Lorraine in selling & buying our perfect home: 1. She really knows the Concord area real estate market & knows the second things start to shift, which is vital in pricing & making offers 2. Smart—she not only knows a lot about real estate (and a lot about a lot )but she’s able to explain things in a clear manner that we non-real estate people get. 3. Great negotiator —she reads people really well which is helpful in figuring out how best to approach people, timing & what details might really matter to them even if they aren’t saying it directly 4. Cares about her clients—we know that she wants us to be happy with our new house and we are ecstatic! 5. Lorraine shows everyone respect and kindness ALWAYS—something we need more of from everyone! People respond to hear positively —which of course helps her clients. We can’t say enough great things about Lorraine!

Lorraine recently helped my wife and I buy our first house. She was everything we could have asked for in a realtor: knowledgeable, responsive, thorough, and professional. We really appreciated how she went above and beyond for us on multiple occasions, including by dropping everything she was doing to tour properties with us on very little notice, and staying up late to help us submit early offers on properties. Lorraine has a great work ethic, and we highly recommend her!

Lorraine was great to work with. We met her at her open house in Walnut Creek when we first started thinking about moving to the East Bay from Los Altos. We really liked her non-pushy demeanor--seemed very genuine. We didn't know anything about Concord but she toured us around the city the following weekend and we were impressed by the choice of neighborhoods, houses with big lots, restaurants, places to hike and general vibe. She worked her tail off in finding our perfect place that checked all of our boxes and getting our offer accepted in a crazy competitive market.

Can I give 7 stars?

Several years ago my husband and I were starting to talk about maybe, one day, possibly selling our home. We met Lorraine at an open house and immediately liked her. She later gave us an estimate and, knowing it wasn't the right time for us, we went our separate ways. Earlier this year when we decided to finally sell our home, she was the first and only person we considered. It wasn't even a question. Just, ok, I'll call Lorraine. The thing is, neither of us actually knew her that well. Sometimes you get a gut instinct about someone. Yes, she is passionate about what she does and is a phenomenal realtor. But it's far more than that. She is honest. She is real. She won't bull***t you. She sees the love that goes into your home and genuinely is right there with you. Selling your beloved home is an incredibly emotional experience. There you are with all your history and memories, looking at how you fumbled this project or didn't paint this the right color or whatever. She was candid without being judgmental. Caring without being saccharine.

Our beloved home was in Concord. Considered to be in a "not desirable" area. I know there are realtors out there who would bring with them a thinly veiled condescension to the transaction, they themselves subtly apologizing for the area. Over the years, my husband and I had put in a tremendous amount of work and love into this home (an extra nod to my husband here who full on transformed the bones of the place into a bright and airy open concept, to say nothing of the glorious work he did transforming the huge backyard into an oasis). We needed someone who saw that love and matched it with their own genuine enthusiasm for the house, area, and potential.

Lorraine was the person for the job. Hands down. The description she wrote about our house was completely on point and captured what we loved about our place. The open house was a tremendous success with 13 offers. It went well over asking and sold within the week.

Cannot recommend her highly enough.

There are many realtors in the Walnut area. Many claim to be in the business for the relationships they gain, wanting to help others with what is arguably the toughest and most important decision of a person's life. I feel as though few succeed in that as well as Lorraine does. With a very high level of customer service coupled with an incredible work ethic, Lorraine proved to be responsive and intelligent in guiding my real estate decision. She would be my first go-to in my next real estate dealings. She should be yours as well.

Lorraine was amazing and walked me through my entire fire housing purchase! I ran into some nasty issues with my lender and Lorraine helped me get an extension on the escrow period and recommended me another lender that could get the work done in the extension period. I don't think I would have gotten my home without her.

Thanks Lorraine.

Lorraine was great to work with! She was tremendously helpful in navigating us through the sale of our first home. She sold our home within 6 days of listing it for over-asking! We were constantly calling and texting her with questions and she was always responsive and thorough.
