Well, council tax is the highest in this region, Why? Oh because the Choppington Parish council has got every household paying an extra £114.73p yr(24/25) no top of £1,505.48p for no additional service's or investments in our area of Choppington where we live.

I feel that the council does a fair job of bus shelters and grass. It fails to, in my eyes, take the county council to task over the lack of investment in this area. I have lived here 30+ years and cannot remember a new school or any sports facilities being built. This despite one of the highest tax takes in the county.
