Lovely place to visit for work experience as the staff and managers welcome you on the first day of arrival. Always prompted if I needed support with any of the tasks given at hand. Everyone from Oakwood Solicitors are all wonderful people and made me feel like I was apart of their team. I would certainly recommend for others who are wanting to gain work experience to come to Oakwood solicitors as they will help you with every step of the way and everyone is easy to get on with. Made connections at the end of the work experience so It was totally worth it.

Excellent service throughout, Elle constantly kept us updated and replied same day when we had questions. Would highly recommend this company and would definitely use again if I ever needed too. Staff are very polite and go out of their way to get you what you need. Only downside was I would’ve preferred they give you the value of compensation you would get after tax first rather see the amount then the after tax amount but other than that, they was perfect.

I got in touch with Oakwood Solicitors after a year of getting tortured by various solicitors as I was involved in a road accident. Tim Driver handled my case. All information regarding the claim was explained thoroughly, any questions I had was answered within 24 hours, or If I had to make a call Tim was always available. I had a repetitive strain shoulder injury from working in production, on jobs with major problems. I had surgery September last year when I contacted Oakwood. Dealt with Chloe all the way through my claim. Another firm said I did not have a case. Yes there was a lot of time on the telephone, building the case.

Company accepted liability and negotiated a fee before court. I came out with just over £9k, money which I was told by other other firm I would never get. I could not have done the process by myself and cost 25% but money I would have never had

Would defiantly use again if ever needed. Alex was an absolute star, made the process feel so easy (though I doubt it was on her end ?) really made it feel like she cared and she went above and beyond to make sure my partner was kept involved and updated throughout the whole thing and didn't mind his million and one questions about anything and everything. Had 2 injury claims that needed resolving. A couple of times I felt disheartened with the way things seemed to be going. Certain parties were not very cooperative and forthcoming with information which was unduly slowing the process down. With Ella and the teams input and resolve got there in the end. A few obstacles were in the way . Despite this the cases were dealt with in a professional yet caring manner.
At no point was I left out of the loop. As and when new information came about , I was informed quickly. I was given the help and guidance as and when needed to make an informed decision.
Had it not been for such help I would not have been able to have seen these claims to the end. As it was becoming all too overwhelming and daunting for me. Can not fault the way my claims were handled from start to finish . Was happy with the outcome .
