Legal aid gang
Jennifer Youngs - how can you introduce yourself, and send a position statement a night before to the court and myself, yet when i send it over 24 hours before, both the court and barrister does not receive it ? and i, a person representing myself do not understand what is written ? Seems like Legal aid is handed out to false claimers and entertained, and complaints of false claims get ignored so the payments can keep filling the pockets of the likes of yourself. Social engineering in Law has allowed this and yet there is no law to a time limit to when a father can see his children and vice versa. How can mothers allow this too ? is it the fact that they are on benifits in a council house, and quite likely they have no idea what they got themselves into over emotionally being upset at no fault of mine. so me and children remain not happy, yet you continue to get paid to stall proceedings in a law where time limits are not recognized, yet filling your pockets at our emotional expense does. Human rights values are not very high for parents and children in England. Yet put on the tv and the same principles are being applied worldwide for human rights violations ? and its people like you, getting paid for it as you are following the money, and the human right element is being ignored in the same law you practice. I do not find that fair. How is one parent deemed safe and the other is not ? why doesn't law take children from both parents ? would that be classed as a double theft rather than a single theft ? or in law is theft not recognized if legally you can have your children back but you just have to wait for 3 years or even a lifetime. And i have to pay Chiild maintenance straight away by law, and i have to make back payments if i miss them, but there is not time limit on seeing your own children. All i can do is pray, whilst the whole country keeps doing this to thousands of families just like mine, because also politicians (and possibly the royal family) allow this social engineering on human rights violations. I bet the tax man is happy too as they get 40% - 50% tax of what you earn. I am having to likely spend more money and possibly have to remortgage me and my elderly fathers house to pay my legal fees just to fight your legal aid funded crusade. Is there some club i dont know about where you can steal children and their happiness, and you get paid generously for it ?

Newest edition July 3rd 2024 , Jessica Atkinson, mentioning my father's pension and false incomes, in court over a child contact case. Mentioning my fathers income is Totally inappropriate and disrespectful to the courts and myself. Doing all this for a wage, representing council house legal aiders. You do go above and beyond your scope in court to the judge and me for no reason. Company must be real proud of you ? She actually had 1hr 30m or 1hr to negotiate contact and contacts me 10 min before the hearing to negotiate, and i replied, and she doesnt reply and tells court I am not giving my telephone number to her (did you give your number to me ? Err no). What an unhappy person she is to do this. Typical solicitor and barrister behaviour I seen. I think making us unhappy/unclear what is going on, they feel they are worthy of something. Lets talk about this 'worthiness'. They fulfil their job (unprofessionally which means this is debateable - probably not even to thier clients satusfaction or needs, as Jessica and team of white collar theives need another wage in the 3d world) but do they fulfil their purpose in life ? I feel they don't.

Lets add Charlotte Macdonald too in this gang

I want to provide a review for Kate Claxton. She was excellent at managing my expectations with a calm and caring approach. A friend recommended her to me, and I will now pass on this recommendation to anyone facing the challenges of family court. From the moment Kate walked through the door, I felt confident. She handled everything professionally and was outstanding at presenting my case concisely in the courtroom.

AVOID AVOID AVOID!!
Had my first court hearing with one of their barristers. Then booked him in for the second hearing with 4.5 months notice. 5 days before the hearing is to happen and he is on holiday. No contact from the company to let me know or find an alternative solution. I had to chase them to see what was happening. One barrister was available who was NOT fit for the hearing. No apology.
Plenty of other much better and helpful companies out there. Do NOT use this one!!

I had the most positive experience with 42 Bedford Row chambers and in particular with counsel Andrew Pote (via direct access). He is a brilliant barrister who managed a difficult case to the top standard and within very tight deadlines. Andrew has been caring, professional and deeply analytical from start to finish. His advice on every detail was not only helpful but also relevant to every issue raised in the court hearing. I cannot recommend him high enough.
Special thanks to Tim Dockrill, practice manager, whose communication was seamless throughout the process.

LYDIA SLEE- THE BEST OF THE BEST.

I recently went threw a heart wrenching family court case, and was lucky enough to be represented by the wonderful Lydia Slee. I’m unsure any review would do her justice, but I will give it a go.
I am a particular person, and at times can be extremely anxious, which I understand may make me at times a difficult client ,however Lydia made me feel no such way. She set me at ease, she was clear and concise, she supported me threw-ought the court process, her communication and understanding of the law was impeccable. I felt throughout the process Lydia took time to understand whom I am as a person, how I best communicate and how to get my thoughts and feelings across on my behalf.
Thanks to Lydia’s hard work and determination I managed to get the best outcome possible for me and my family, which we will forever be grateful for.
If I were to have to recommend someone… lydia would be my one and only choice , there isn’t another person I would recommend. Lydia got the job done properly, all whilst being compassionate caring and looking the part.
Anyone would be lucky to have her representing her, and 42 Bedford row are extremely lucky to have such a wonderful women working with them.
My hope is this review truly helps someone to choose Lydia Slee to represent them, you won’t be disappointed.

I had an awful experience with Barrister Jane Hayford. She refused to listen to instructions, tried to argue with the judge, and got mixed up on facts. Woeful.
